Introducing Scripture Type!

We are so excited to let you know about something we have been thinking about and planning for literally months! 

Awhile back we had been thinking about how, though the name Hand Lettering Co. was familiar since it's been our name since we started in 2013, it just didn't really embody who we really are and what this business of ours really is. As we thought about potential new names, Scripture Type came to mind and immediately just seemed like the name we were looking for. Everything we make is based on Scripture, so it better communicates that. And "type," being the art of typography, more fully represents the designs we create as each one is laid out and drawn in such a way so as to thoughtfully communicate a specific truth from God's Word. 

We know that seeing a new name may come as a surprise to many of you who have been our faithful followers since the beginning, but we hope you'll be just as excited as we are for this switch as we have so many fun and exciting things coming along with it!
