2017 + Hand Lettering Co.

Happy New Year! We've been a little absent from the blog over the past couple months. It's a blessing to be busy, but it hasn't left us much time to keep up with anything other than the necessities of life. :)

As we start a new year, we thought this would be a great time to give an update on our family and Hand Lettering Co. As we set out in the beginning of 2016, we were jumping into making Hand Lettering Co. a full-time business. God provided faithfully, as He always does, though it was more through side projects and freelance work that He brought my way.

Throughout the year, one of my freelance clients has become more regular and has thus created new opportunities for Hand Lettering Co. So, for the first time since starting Hand Lettering Co., we don't have to rely on it in the same way. 

We can now make it more of what we've always really wanted it to be: more of a ministry and less of a business.

We will continue to create Scripture art and focus on products that we are most stoked on ourselves and excited to share with you all. We want to put the majority of our time and efforts into creating new designs and putting out more free Scripture memorization resources that we hope will be an encouragement and blessing to you all.

With that said, we need to be more efficient with our time, but that usually ends up being a good thing. :) We are going to be pulling back on a few of the products we have been offering in order to have more time and ability to focus on the creation of new designs as well as some products we've been wanting to have for a long time. So, stay tuned for several exciting new things!

In the mean time, we are making quite a few changes to the website and refreshing it a bit. So have a look around! We hope you enjoy it and most of all, that you will find things that will encourage and edify your soul!
