Makers Arcade Holiday Fair
Happy December! This month is always so full of fun events and tomorrow is one of our favorites. We're so excited to have a booth at Makers Arcade tomorrow for their annual holiday fair!
We always love this event. Being that our business is online, we don't get to have that personal interaction that businesses with a storefront do. So markets like this one provide a bit of opportunity for that, to be able to meet some of you in person and put faces to some of our customers. And the folks that put on Makers Arcade really do an outstanding job at organizing it and making it an incredibly fun day!
So if you're in San Diego, we'd love to see you tomorrow! (And if you do stop by, mention that you read about it here and we'll hook you up with something fun. :)
There will be dozens of other really fun shops to check out as well. We love seeing what other small businesses are doing and creating. And it's the perfect place to finish up your Christmas shopping!
They've added another really special part of the event this year: collecting donations for Just in Time for Foster Youth, providing support for foster youth as they transition into new living spaces and their first “home”.
Anyone who attends Makers Arcade tomorrow can drop off a donation with The Holidays at their Vintage Trailer located at the entrance of the event. Everyone who donates will be entered to win a free night stay (valid Sunday-Thursday, non-holidays) at The Holidays. They are picking 3 winners!
Donation needs are: new blankets, comforters, sheets, pillows, cleaning supplies, dishes, glassware, silverware, kitchen supplies, furniture, lamps, store or gas gift cards.
