It's been a little while since we've shared our latest finds and favorite resources. We get pretty excited when we hear about new resources that encourage our faith and/or create special time together as a family. Here are five things we've been enjoying lately...

These videos put out by Radical are so well made and also rich with information about countries we pray for, but have not been to. Hard to Reach: Indonesia is a 3-part series that we watched as a family recently and helped us better visualize and understand the spiritual climate and need of this country that we pray for regularly.

One of our pastors gifted us with the book Jesus in Beijing: A Missionary Memoir of Christ's Victory in China. It tells compelling stories from the author's time in China and incredible answers to prayer. Each chapter is just a few pages and we read them around the table after dinner. We were all bummed when we finished and there weren't any chapters left to read!

This devotional based off of Psalm 121 was recently released and Carly has been enjoying it lately. The author also creates watercolor courses that our girls LOVE. They've done several of the projects with a friend over the past couple of summers/holiday breaks and can't get enough!

Our girls have been deep into their current book series the past few weeks. Eden (12) is loving the Callenlas Chronicles. And though we're a little late to jump on the Wingfeather bandwagon, Alia (10) is currently devouring them one another another.

Chris has been struggling with sleep for awhile and one of the things we have recently started doing is getting outside within the first hour of sunlight for a morning walk. We've learned a lot about the benefits of this for sleep and it's also created space to start the day with the fresh air, movement, and a time to talk and pray. And here's a sermon our pastor preached a couple of years ago where he talks about anxiety and why Jesus teaches in Scripture to "consider the birds and the lilies."

Hi!
I may have a lot of things running through my head right now, but here’s something I want to say right off the bat- PRESS ON! I may not know your full story, but by getting a glimpse, reading who you are and what you’re about, has already encouraged and inspired me.
I share the same heart’s desire, to see scriptures tangibly and serve them as reminders of God’s character and will for our lives. I pray too, that everyone coming in our home will be able to experience God in a fresh, meaningful and transformative way by seeing visuals of God’s Word!
I am currently in a season of seeking what would God have us do with the creative gifts He has blessed us with.
By coming across your platform, this has sparked some ideas and inspirations.
Bearing in mind when he said in Deuteronomy 6: 5-9 5 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
God bless you and your family! 🙏
In Christ’s love,
Christine Teves
